Shared Direction, Collective Action
The Wellington Guelph Drug Strategy Strategic Plan sets out a shared vision for collectively addressing substance use in Guelph and Wellington County over the coming years. Developed over the past year in collaboration with community partners and people with lived and living experience, the plan outlines three key priority areas to guide our collective work. Grounded in four interconnected pillars of Prevention, Harm Reduction, Treatment & Recovery, and Community Safety, the plan recognizes that addressing substance use requires coordinated, compassionate, and evidence-informed action. By strengthening partnerships, improving public understanding, and creating opportunities for meaningful collaboration, the plan provides a roadmap for collective action toward a healthier, safer, and more supportive community. We invite you to read the strategic plan and learn more about our shared priorities and the path forward.
