Creating a Place to Remember, Together

person on bench

In 2023, Guelph saw the highest number of fatalities from drug poisoning on record.    Nearly everyone in our community has been touched by drug poisoning.

The Pathways to Remembering Memorial is being built to honour community members whose lives have been lost to drug poisoning.

For individuals and families, the Pathways to Remembering Memorial provides a space for people to grieve and honour their loved one.

For our community, the memorial is a statement to show that each life lost is loved and missed, and community members are actively working towards minimizing the harmful stigma that surrounds substance use.

Help Us Reach Our Fundraising Goal

The WGDS and partner organizations are working together to reach our fundraising goal. To date, we have raised over $16,000 of our $50,000 goal. We are working to raise the remaining funds through the generosity of community donors who understand the impacts of the drug poisoning crisis. Donate today to help our community create a place to remember.
